Q: searching feedback forum

Hi,
when I do a search on my name in the feedback forum, I get a result from a post I made leaving feedback for a seller.

however, the post about my feedback as a buyer, does not show up in the search results.

the search was done with my name in both lower case, and all upper case (as in the post)

Is there something that I'm missing?

I found the problem. You searched for "BILLINGAS" which only found your posts. The sentence structure makes your name "BILLINGAS."See the difference? Search engines can be tricky beasties.

I'm pretty certain that I searched on my name, as it is spelled
both upper and lower

"billinvegas" and "BILLINVEGAS" (all upper is how stillinamerica used it in his post)

In fact, just did it again, and it only returns the post that I made for stillinamerica,
not his post for me...

I searched on the keyword "cheers" (that he used to sign off the post) and it returns the post

Normally wouldn't sweat it too much, but it's my first feedback here, and I'd like to continue to do business as both a seller and buyer, and I'd like to have a feedback rating here on POTN

You missed this " . " at the end of your name in the post that did not show up. The machine searched for your name without the period at the end, so it did not see your name with the period at the end. As far as the machine is concerned, they are no more the same as Mudd an Jeff.
