Why don't you "tint" the windows in PP? Just a thought.

Like the idea...But, yeah, the windows need to be dark for it to be effective.

There seems to be an emptiness about it though, maybe it's too wide and leaves too much empty space in fron to fthe vehicle. Did you think about popping up a tent? I think it would add to the photo. I'd say right around where that lighter streak is that's just about even with the bumper approx 1" to the left of the car. I don't know, just a thought.

this forum always seems to nit pick.. I dont have tinted windows yet, So I knew going in I would get 'need darker windows' comments. I was going for a wide shot to get the landscape also. I really like the camp site idea. might have to bring some gear next trip, Ill be redoing the shoot soon for other reasons.

That's what forums are about, aren't they? But half the time people don't bother to read your text, so I get where you're coming from. Put your images on FB & everyone will "Like" them. ; )

I did read the text and thought that I was agreeing with you.

Geez...wha'da'ya want?

BTW, while we're on the subject of nit-picking, I think tinting the windows will not be enough. There is too much light filtering through the windows...Some darkening in post will probably still be necessary.

I also think that I would add a specular reflecting light source on the camera side of the windows to get a reflected sparkle off of the area surrounding the windows.

Very cool concept!
