Unfortunately there are several willing subjects in my parent's yard.

I was using my Canon 300D with 70-200mm f2.8L IS lens.

I love squirrel shots! Perhaps you might crop him more tightly, and tweak him with Curves (in PS)

That crop certainly makes a more distinct point. Try to keep the width at 800 pixels, so that most viewers do not have to scroll to see the entire picture. I would rank your crop at excellent. Well done.
