Will this lens work on a Rebel T2i/550D? Does it need an adapter?

It is on a an EOS Rebel Kiss ? (film camera) Friend owns it. Thought I would borrow it if it will work on the T2i.

This is all that was on the lens: Tamron af 75-300mm 1:4-5.6 LD tele-macro(1:3.9) I AM NOT buying this lens!

Thanks for helping.

Gil
