Just got my backorder e-mail too, but at least the price is locked in.

There was one little bit of info in the invitation email I received (as this sale was apparently by invitation only):

I didn't use the link. I was already logged into Adorama and found it at the sale price.

Funny thing is the link from this referrer is the one getting the back orders, the link I got no back orders yet Yet being the key word.

I've not gotten shipping notification yet, probably will see tonight. Nothing about being back ordered on my confirmation though.
