As a Lightroom 4 user, I am looking for a high-quality slideshow application that will not degrade the post-production adjustments I have made to my images in Lightroom. Regrettably, I have had disappointing experiences with Apple's iMovie '11.
I am currently looking at FotoMagico Pro. I am curious if other photogs using Lightroom 4 have had experience with FotoMagico Pro. Was image quality retained after importing photos into FotoMagico Pro? Are there other slideshow-creation options meriting consideration?
Please keep in mind that my primary criterion s to retain image quality.
Thank you so much for any help.
This post is something I've been looking for exactly. I've been using FotoMagic 4, and I'm very impressed at how the slideshows come out, very high quality in the program, but when you "share" to QuickTime or any other format, the photo quality is very degraded and I'm quite disappointed compared to what it has to offer in the program. I'd like to purchase it, as I definitely have a need for it, and all of the other programs out there seem very cheap and nowhere near the quality, I just need that quality to carry over to the web.

I'm currently putting together a slideshow of a home, and here is a shot of the home and you'll notice how it looks washed out and just loses all the color depth in the QuickTime movie. It's probably obvious, but the QuickTime is the image on the right, while the left is in their app. Anyone have any ideas on this..?? I may make another post specific to this issue, but I'm just searching and searching for a solution. If you go to their homepage, it's very impressive what they have on there, and it shows up well on any Apple device.
