I just had a "Aha!" moment. Did you ever think, "That's so obvious! Why didn't that jump out at me before this?" I usually shoot take-offs & landings indiscrimantly, of course trying for some (any) prop blur while keeping the aircraft fairly sharp. The first one here came out so nice, & I realised that it was on take-off at full power. Not landing at idle. I guess it was more of a "D'oh!" moment?

Nice to hear! I think it was the fact that #1 was the first 360 degree blur I've had shooting hand held that did it.

Sadly (for me), other guys, one specifically being Jay (FlyingPhotog) get it all the time! My weak excuse is that I don't have IS. ; )
