I am trying to understand SEO, and one thing I would like to offer (if this community thinks it is a smart idea) is to have a links page on my website where I post links to other photographer's sites, in exchange for their link back to my site on theirs. Would this help? If so, PM me with a professional website (meaning you sell your photos) and I will exchange links with you. I'm looking for wedding photographers specifically.

Yes it would help. The links would be seen as coming from relevant sites and be valued more by Google compared to a non photography website linking to your site.

Hi, Please don't use the same anchor text everywhere, the new Google Panda algorithm will not let you rank if you use the same anchor text everywhere, research your keywords and keep different anchor texts, Hope this helps. Shoot me a PM if you have any SEO query.
