HTTP response: NOT FOUND | MIME changed to 'image/png'


Does this work? Should I try to fix the broken leaf on the left flower? I dunno if I like it or not. I used the shallow dof to try to separate the flower, maybe its a little shallow? I thought it was interesting that on the same stem, one flower was thriving while the other, dying. I don't usually shoot flowers, but I thought the concept was interesting.

yeah that's what I'm thinking. I'm not happy with it at all haha, I'm going to scrap it. thanks for the feedback!

If the live flower had a full rack of petals then it might work better; but crop in closer.

I think the flawed petal works beautifully into your concept but agree that a closer crop would much improve this photo.

Also, if possible, I think it would be cool if you could get it in the morning or evening sun to warm up the picture a little.

I think a tighter crop would work better as well. I love the concept.

I really liked the concept and agree with others. I had some PP fun with this one if you don't mind. I cropped, cloned, adjusted levels and applied a slight bit of sun flare (after all they look like sunflowers) to warm it up. I really like it.
