It's the first day of spring in the Southern Hemisphere, and winter is dying hard. 300 feet above the river in these shots, there is a solid pack of snow, which although this is Africa is not that rare.

were you using flash(es)?
i'm usually not a fan of the style of processing, but i think it worked nicely in 1 and a few others
