You do lose 75-135 on the long end, but you have constant f2.8 which to me, is more valuable than reach/IS. Their pretty cheap and it would be a great walk around lens for your 5D. You can sell the rest of your lenses to help make up the difference. My first walk-around and only lens on 5Dc was the nifty-fifty. It is absolutely different and better lens on FF compare to Rebels. You will see it right away within first few pictures takew at f1.8 on 5DC. My second lens to choose for walk-around is Tamron 28-75 2.8. Best bang for your buck in terms of zoom lens IQ to match 5Dc IQ. I agree. -Adam
