Brings back memories from when I grew up in Cache Valley. I really like the composition of #1 and #2. On my screen the bottom part of the sky/clouds on #1 looks a little washed out/overexposed.

Great series.

Thanks for the comments.

The lake is kind of ugly this time of year as it has receded about a mile, leaving a long muddy beach. It is one of these places that is ugly and pretty at the same time if that makes any sense.

Yes, in #1 there were some people out in the distance by where the lake actual starts. I tried to get out there, but my helper's legs were a little short to make it out that far.

Never understood why they call it Great Salt Lake ...
Big Salt Lake might be better term.
I like #1 but would crop in more and loose that right side thing.

Really like your series.

I hope you'll forgive my indulgence, but I really see great potential in #2

^^ nice! in Jan of 1978 I was driving east on I80, picked up a hitch hiker in Winnemucca, NV. I don't think he said two words across Nevada and as we start thru the Great Salt Lake it began snowing hard. About 25 miles into the lake he spoke up with a "Stop here. I'll get out here". We were in the middle of no where, I pull over, he gets out and walks down the bank and starts walking thru the water and mud toward who knows where. I drove off...
