If you're looking for honest critique amongst your fellow photographers, you're getting it. There's nothing negative about this at all, but honestly, I don't see anything special in the picture either. I have no idea how the title relates to the picture and I don't even know what sport it is your shooting.

I would probably had used a real sponge If you wish a critique on your selective color technique, you pulled it off, the jacket is pink and the rest of the snap is b&w.
