Well I posted this in wrong section. We had 'set up' made of one table lamp and just my Canon 60D with 15-88 lens IS.

I would like your critiques. My friend looks like terrorist on some pictures I know but still I tried to do max with the light and conditions :

I do like 1 and 2. Is that a knife he's holding in 2 & 3?

If this was for experimentation, you're on the right track I think. Lighting is soft, but a little too dark. I do find the textures of the blanket and towel to be a bit distracting though.

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

They are dark and moody. Would love for you to aim some light at the knife so it's hi-lighted a bit better. The same with the eyes on your subjects, a bit more light would be sweet!

Can't wait to see more.

I feel like the light you used wasn't bright enough, add another. I can tell its just a table lamp by the falloff. They seem dark, too. And you could fix that a bit in post. Just because you want a "dark feeling" image, doesn't mean you shouldn't still have a wide array of tones.

My eye keeps going to the textures in the towel and the blanket in 1 & 4. I think a smoother fabric would have been better.
