Just my luck. Been wanting to set up for some shots at Egrets I found. But every hour brings more rain.

Anyway, I'll have to walk through three feet deep mud, then water and mud, then mud and grass and hide in muddy grass and wait. If I get a shot then reverse the whole thing and drive back home muddy.

Plus, I'm not sure what else is out there in that tall grass.

Those birds make some great photographs, could be the best I have ever took.

Is it worth it?

Thanks Rick, looks like a break in the clouds today for a short time.

Guess I worry more about gear in the mud than myself. I sure want to get out there and at least once to see whats going to happen. The Egrets don't mind you at all 180 yards away but I want to be pretty close.

Now its nail biting time until I figure out if that is how I'll spend the rest of the day.
