IMAGE NOT FOUND
HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO


Where do I fail on this photo ... The background is so thick and no depth its like ... I dunno .

What about this :

the bottom picture looks flat and uninteresting

The top picture has the two shadows taking away the main focus which is the shape and color of the leaf

focus looks soft on both


So if God made Man & Woman....whats his excuse for Nikon...

The leaf isn't getting more light than the background and so it doesn't stand out as much as it could. The swing photo doesn't really direct my attention anywhere. The light is even and I'm not getting a sense of a focus on maybe the vacant seats, maybe on the overgrown grass, etc

You might try sharpening your leaf shot and cropping out the top diagonal.

I would crop the top of the first one to get rid of the light beam (or whatever it is).

The second one is underexposed.
