I posted this here because lets face it, the only people I can think of that might use this OS are industry professionals.

I have a dual-quad core Xeon E5440 workstation I built for photo editing and wanted to connect my 60d directly to it. It works on my Windows 7 laptop but not on my Server 08 R2 box, which uses the drivers from 7. The drivers are not available from Canon and I do not have the machine connected to the internet for security purposes (thus throwing out the Microsoft Update option) I can get it connected which isnt an issue but it weighs a LOT and I have to bring it to work to do it.

Does anyone know where I can get them?

I've come to the conclusion it is not possible, so I will do as I did on my 5d and just card transfer.

Use a USB card reader. Why are you using a server OS for workstation tasks?

For the particular machine I built it was the only one I could make work.

Everything else is fine it's like a big-block Chevy with an 8-71 it's just I was trying to get my 60d to work and I have it on my laptop now + tethering which is dope, coming from a user of first-generation Canon dSLR's and latter-generation EOS 35mm SLR's

What does suck is that my Epson 4490 doesn't work on it, but I have a machine that it works on so it isn't a total loss.

Another plus for the Server 08 R2 is that I got it legal and free from Mircosoft's Dreamspark program which is a program for college students only. I like it so far, better than 7.....but I'm biased as I work in IT and computer sciences. The last time I liked an operating system this much was when Windows 2000 came out.
