If using E-TTL and bouncing flash from a wall or ceiling behind you, underexposure results if the eyepiece isn't blocked from the preflash.
Thats what got me thinking about this.
Initially I was also worried about the relected light from my Bowens monolights, but then I thought I always use these in manual mode - so no need as pointed out its the exposure meter reading that gets messed up not the actual exposure.
ANyway my Eyecup Eg arrived today so I'll just stick a blanking peice of black plastic on it.
