Your opinion please. Is this image clean enough? Or should I clean the sensor again?

My first post ... ;)

After my first attempt to clean the sensor filter myself for my 7D, I took the following test photo of the blue sky at f/22, ISO 100. Still can see a few dust spots (a couple around the center and a few at the bottom). Just wondering if this is clean enough or should I clean it again? I don't want to overdo it. What do you folks think? No scratches I hope...

Your opinion is greatly appreciated! I also attach the file here. Hope it helps

Looks clean to me. Less cleaning is better in the long run. Anything even remotely visible won't be at your common aperture range

The influence of these spots on a photo would not be detectable. I had to desaturate and crank up brightness/contrast to be able to see them... I'd leave it alone. Every time you open up the sensor area, you get a chance for something new to land in as well.

Very clean sensor....

The best (or worst) way to measure your success at cleaning is to take a picture as you did and then open it up in PhotoShop and do a "auto levels" on the image. Every dust speck sticks out like a sore thumb. Your image is very clean.

Never try to get 100% clean because dust will reappear minutes later and just drive you crazy.

estherc,

Excellent job! The only spots I can see are one or two in the middle, but they are barely visible. Did you used a blower after your cleaning? That might just move those last remnants. Other than that, you should be very happy and proud of your efforts. Leave well enough alone and go enjoy your camera:)
