Battery grips and street photography

This is something I've debated on for a bit. I've never used a battery grip for street photography as it seems like it would draw attention to the camera. Anyone use a grip for street photography? I suppose it would be the same difference as using a 1D series camera also.

I use a snub nosed 5D. Unless the grip was painted orange I can't see that adding a grip would really draw any more attention.

Generally speaking, people don't see cameras; they see lenses.

I guess giving it a go and seeing what happens will be the best way to do it. I'm probably just over thinking it. I've never had an issue without a grip, so I guess there really shouldn't be a reason why one would cause trouble.
