New to photo shooting

Hello everyone, always enjoyed taking pictures of random things. So I decided to finally buy myself a camera. So I got me a starter Canon EOS Rebel xsi with lens EF-S 18-55mm. Iooking to learn a lot from here as well. So any pointer is much appreciate.

Post some photos up for critique when you're ready, getting feedback on your work is a great way to learn.
