Hey guys, i'm looking at buying the Rokinon 8mm fisheye to mount on my 5D mark ii.
mainly going to be used for videography and photography of fast moving BMX
any pros and cons to this lens and if so, is there a better option?

jblaschke Goldmember More info | Opteka has a new version--exact same optics--with a detachable hood. Still has massive amounts of vignetting on the sides of a full frame, maybe 3/4 circular, but it'll work if that's what you want. The Wife bought one to use with her 50D backup body at weddings. She played with it on her 5DII but it's not terribly pretty unless you crop heavily. Produces a circular, vignette image on full-frame sensors or 35mm film": http://www.bhphotovideo.com …8mm_f_3_5_HD_Fisheye.html There is also a new Cine version: http://www.bhphotovideo.com …m_f_3_8_Fisheye_Cine.html If you are looking for a fisheye look then I would suggest either the Canon EF 15mm fe or the Sigma 15mm fe. I have owned both and they are both very good quality. I currently own the Canon. If you are looking for just a super wide lens for the 5D II then I would go with either the 13mm Vivitar or the 14mm Rokinon. I think B&H has discontinued the Vivitar bit it can be found on Amazon while the two following Rokinons are listed on B&H. http://www.bhphotovideo.com …tra_Wide_Angle_f_2_8.html The new Cine version: http://www.bhphotovideo.com …_14mm_T3_1_Cine_Lens.html
