I found in CompUSA this lens (EF 75-300mm f/4.0-5.6 III USM Telephoto Zoom Lens) and I want to know if is worth it... Is it a good lens?

They have it for $229.00 in CompUSA, Puerto Rico

Or should I wait and get the Canon EF 28-135 IS USM Lens...

They're both very different and both distinctly average. Instead of the longer zoom I would opt for the Sigma 70-300 APO DG and instead of the 28-135 I would opt for the Sigma 24-70 2.8 EX DG Macro. better lenses, better value, just better ;-)a

CompUSA tends to be closer to MSRP than some of the better mail-order camera stores (how's that for understatement? It's $160 at B&H).

AF is not very fast - hunts a lot at some conditions - images are a bit (that may be a understatement! though) on the softer side
