Here's one of the shots from an engagement shoot. I was nervous at first because the couple was very quiet and stiff. But after a bit they loosened up.

Like the main part of it.

But I tend to like lack of blurred plants now, like over her shoulder or leg. It's more a matter of the number of blurred plants. If there's a lot of them, I like it. If just spotty, not so much. But I don't make a hard rule of it, and sometimes try it anyway just to see how it looks.

Otherwise like the composition and clarity of the photo. Comes across as a really positive moment.

thanks for the input fellas. I wanted to kind of get a bit of an outside point of view watching two people in love kind of "be together" if that makes sense. That's why I tried to include the subtle blurred flowers/leaves and bench on the sides and bottom.
@Chrisvanbeekum what do you mean by "leaner" like you mean if she were closer to him leaning towards him?

He's leaning back, and legs up.

Wondering if they mean that the woman and man traded poses, with her being the leaner, as in leaning back on the hand. And him sitting. That would also leave her legs extended.

nice photo, agree on the blurred twigs, in the location they are in they are distracting, esp in regards to her. I can see what is meant by her leaning, maybe if they had switched position it would have been better. The female should always be the center of attention in these shots.

I think the poses should be reversed... I think its a little soft which could be do to the post processing... Not sure if you were goin with the "dreamy soft" look... Keep Shootin!
