VAB trip, need advice -- Transportation in photography-on-the.net forums

I am going to the kennedy space center and the VAB, how wide of a lens will I need? I have a 40d and a 24-70 will that do? or ill I need to rent somthing?

Also how much time do they give you in the VAB? will I have to run and gun with a dual camera strap, or do they give you enough time to casually stroll through and change lenses?

And I am open to hear any other tips you guys have.
