Need some guidance from some of you who may have done something along these lines.
I am donating a couple framed prints to my local Ducks Unlimited Chapter for their use at an upcoming banquet. Wasn't really expecting anything back, but they have offered to allow me a table to display and sell some other work.
I have a pretty good selection of waterfowl work in addition to other mammals - bears, elk, moose, so on.
I need some guidance on how to handle this. Printing on site isn't gonna happen, so I have to take enough to cover any "demand" without coming home with a bunch of leftovers. I can take orders if needed for items I don't print as I will have a laptop with me. Attendance is generally around 200-250 individuals. Specific prints would be my pick.
How many different images would you take, how many of each, and how many different sizes? I was thinking 8*10 and 13*19, each printed with a small black print border around them and in a protective cover (no frames, no matting). I also thought about 5*7 and 8*10 with a couple framed 13*19.
Thoughts or suggestions?
