I like #1 or #3...i like the overall sky in #1 best, but the rays seem a little overdone to me?

I don't know how to control the rays, I've had 4 people tell me this now. I did want "sunstars" so I was shooting at f/22. I didn't think they'd be so long I guess. I don't mind them but everyone else seems to hate them... could it be my UV filter?

oh, i figured it was done in post....i don't hate them, i rather like them...also, i changed my mind, i think i like the sky best in #3, but the sun in #1...sorry, i'm zero help, lol

the starbursts are distracting, for that reason the third.

Nope this is just how the 16-35 renders the sun I guess.. Thanks for your input though! its hard to decide haha

I agree. If you could combine 1 and 3 then it would look 10 times better! :)

I like number 3 best because it is more evenly lit, shows the blades of the windmill better and it doesn't draw as much attention to the distorted windmill tower.
