Great detail (and DOF) where it counts.

It would actually make a nice postcard. (in my book, that means it's a nice shot)

I like just about everything with this image. Good focus, good colors, and relevant background bokeh. I even like the title. Well done!

I have two of these in a tank in my living room. I have seen them kayaking and they jump off rocks so quickly they are hard to photograph. If this is in nature...then great capture! IF this is in a tank then more DOF is available... Great capture overall though. You really got the aquatic-turtle eye there!

It's in an aquarium so I couldn't get too close, and there was very little light.

I did get some others with more DOF, but this one really stood out too me :)

I echo everyone's comments. That is a nice capture - very sharp. A little more DFO so its legs were sharp would be nice; but given your shooting conditions in an aquarium, what you have is great. Was this available light ?

Nice capture. The only nit is that the small stone in the very forefront keeps catching my eye. He def has an expression on his face. Love it.

I too love everything about this photo. Focus, DOF, Contrast, Exposure, etc. I also like that you used the rule of thirds but to the left. I usually gravitate to using the right side of thirds so seeing left makes it look really nice in my opinion.
