This shot is an HDR using four different exposures. It's my first ever attempt at HDR, as I'm still trying to come to terms with using it (I think I just see too many that are so overdone that I haven't been completely on board yet). The photo comes from the Kokosing River -- a small river in central Ohio. I biked 8 miles with my gear and spent 90 minutes in the river for this one, so I'm glad it turned out pretty nice!

Thanks for looking! :)

Gorgeous. When I get into HDR this is exactly the way I'd want to use it. I like the warm and somewhat yellow cast, too - works here.

The scene itself isn't extraordinary, but your composition and timing the sunset have made an excellent photograph.

Well done. It is refreshing to see HDR done well. It has gotten a bad wrap, but when done right, it cant be beat.

Thanks, Jon! It's tough to find scenes here in Ohio that are extraordinary, but it forces me to work on more technical skills, so it's not all bad! ;)
