First try at a black and white. Used Silver Efex Pro.

Was this shot during the day? The tree line above the engine just looks a little hazy. A little more contrast would look good but I like the composition of this. Nice shot.

Ah, okay. That explains it. Keep up the good work. I'm a fan of still photos done in B&W for some reason.

Love the shot, and it is worthy of B&W. I'd try and bump up the contrast on the engine at least. I have a thing for contrasty B&W though. :)


If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?
Digital - 50D, 20D IR Conv, 9 Lenses from 8mm to 300mm
Analog - Mamiya RB67 Pro-SD, Canon A-1, Nikon F4S, YashicaMat 124G, Rollei 35S, QL17 GIII, Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex 1st Version, and and entire room full of lenses and other stuff

Great shot, I'd say it could use some more tonal range/contrast as well. (but I like contrasy b&w too) This is just one of my lightroom presets to give you an idea

Can I trouble you for a screenshot of the light room settings? I like the changes.

To think I almost scrapped this then the idea of b&w crossed my mind
