Trip to grocery store this afternoon netted 6-packs of three Oktoberfest beers including:
1. Great Lakes (Ohio) Oktoberfest. Smooth, smooth smooth! Not overly hoppy and a great finish. ABV = 5.8%. Wow!
2. Goose Island Harvest Ale. Love Goose Island products. This one says it contains wheat but doesn't taste like a wheat beer at all ... thankfully. A little 'snappy' for an ale, but great taste and plenty of it.
3. Sam Adams Oktoberfest. Surprisingly, better tasting from the bottle than on draught at the local pubs. Pretty smooth and the most full-bodied of the three picked up today.
What have you guys tried so when the supply runs out, I have something else to sample?
