It had been raining for most of the day. When it stopped for a few minutes the late afternoon sun shone upon the top of the Weeping Cherry tree. Since the 100 - 400 had just moments earlier gotten home from being tuned up it was irresistible to give it a try. I'm grateful to this Song Sparrow for helping out even though the only perspective he offered was one with the neighbors roof and house in the background. It is good that this lens is back.

It was such a relief to know that nothing went awry with the tune up. Thanks so much Jay.

Thank you very much Al. Never having sent a lens in for a tune up before I will admit to being nervous that something bad might happen. Crazy, huh!

Super detail Lil...looks like the tune up worked well. Did you send in the lens only or the body too? I've been tempted to send my 100-400 in as well.

Thank you kindly Stephen. I was thrilled to have been able to react in time to capture the head turn.
