In Plymouth, Nova Scotia there is a mountain bike trail called Mark's Mecca. On one section of the trail, there is a large amount of abandoned steel structures and an old Chevy truck. I have been riding this trail for years watching this truck degrade.

From a few years back, with my old camera:

Photos from today are at a low POV as I still have no tripod, so I was sitting on the ground to help reduce any shake.

Certainly does. I guess there is not a lot of "Transportation" left in this thing.

I actually like #2 the best. I think it shows the character of this forgotten old beast!

But one thing I noticed, and isn't his nice - look how much better of a photographer you are now.

Please post this in the abandoned thread: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=436246

A little steel wool and some elbow grease....will buff that right out. ;) Nice shots. #2 is definitely a keeper.

Thanks!
I'll be sure to add it to the other thread. I am currently traveling for work and have limited access.

Nice shots. I love abandoned stuff, I never really get tired of it. Before I had my 60D I took some SD1000 pics of an abandoned Porsche! It was on a friends land along with some other awesome stuff including an abandoned homemade neon-sign tube making factory on the side of a hill. It was like the owner just left and left everything there. We even found some 80's nude magazines in there which were funny looking back at the 80's. I love exploring junk.

Edit: - I just added the Porsche to the Abandoned thread. Check it out if you get a chance.
