Sep 09, 2012 16:21 | #2 I like the shot, just scratching my head a little about seeing a full moon on the same side of the earth as the Sun. I would expect to see a crescent moon pointing toward the sun. Got a camera, some cheap glass, one nice glass, a PC which doubles as my darkroom and a lot to learn - and having fun learning.

Sep 10, 2012 01:24 | #4 I like this shot, but yeah it is weird that the sun and full moon are in the same direction. Maybe some cosmologists amongst us will explain. Sep 10, 2012 10:59 | #6 Thanks QBX. It was actually quite dark when I took the photo and I wanted to retain the night feel of the shot without overdoing it but I can see that it needed a little more and I like what you did there. It will help me finalize this!

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

The moon was not out all day this day. Once late afternoon came and the sun went down the moon came up over the horizon. To me this is a moonrise during a sunset.

The moon rose at 14:08 (2:08pm) at 118°(E). If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

This is of course unless the moon rises in the west in New Jersy, unlike the rest of the world. ![]() My memory has never been that great

Sep 11, 2012 10:04 | #13 Are some under the assumption that this was a photoshop trick? If I'm reading it correctly, this is what he saw when he pointed the camera at the sky. What to call it is another issue, but I like the sky. The foreground is great, just needs some different lighting (for me). -JasonMK on Flickr

I plan on doing a similar shot next Sunday (I think that's when they set together again). If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?
