color looks good, horizon is obviously not level. The dock is blocking some or the boat, so it competes for attention. too much dead space on the right, and i don't like the suns reflection. The boats in the background are irrelevant and shouldn't be in the shot. different angle, different time of day. and maybe having someone in the kayak would help as well, because as it sits, its a little boring.

I think the angles created because of the position you shot from make this a difficult picture to look at. The horizon is so far off, that if you were to try to correct in PP, you wouldn't be left with much picture after the adjustment. Had you shot it with the horizon level, from the same spot, I think, the angle of the boat and dock would be very strange.

Agree. It was not at all up to the mark. The horizon was off. Should have lied down and taken the shot. I got low near the edge and tried. Composition wise not good enough as you guys mentioned lot of empty space on the right.
