Why does my watermark appear blurred when exporting from Lightroom?

This is driving me crazy. When viewed full screen in Photo shop or within the watermark editor in Lightroom, my watermark appears very sharp and crisp. Then, when I export RAWs as JPEGs via Lightroom, the logo looks slightly blurred.

Anybody have an idea of how/why this is happening?

It is downsizing the watermark at the same time as the photo when you export I believe.

There is a partial workaround (at least in LR4, I'm not sure about 3.x). Assuming that your export dimensions are constant, you can place your sized watermark on a transparent background with a canvas size the same as your export dimensions. This can be saved as a PNG file to preserve transparency and in Watermark Effects, the option Size: Fit should be selected.
