Wow - what a babyface. I'm only 24 years old and it shocks and amazes me every time that I think about the fact that I'm older than most soldiers over in Iraq.

Is he interested in photography or are these just some snapshots that he and his buddies are taking? It would be really neat to see what he's seeing over there.

Anyway, I hope he keeps himself safe over there and I'm thankful for his service.

What unit is he serving with? My son is with the 1/502nd, 101st Airborne Div. The background looks similar to other pictures I've seen.

He looks good, your family should be proud!

I'm so proud of our service men and women who are risking their lives for the sake of the freedoms we all hold so dear. Thanks for the post of this very handsome and proud soldier. :D

We are fortunate to have young men like this. It's a shame he has to be doing what he does but I thank him for it. He looks to young to be carrying a gun much less using it in combat. We are praying for his safety. Thanks for the post.

He looks like he is good spirits. God bless him and his fellow troopers.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.

60% of all the military is less than your age. I just loved working with those men and women prior to retiring. They will suprise you at the level of service they perform too. Just remember that in combat the stress will age you really fast. Hate to say it but he will not be the same 21 year old when he returns. All are in my prayers. Semper Fi !

Great idea to send the camera. I get pictures from friends in Iraq and it is a great feeling to see them smile.
