How long do you think it will take for it start dropping in price....

I know its just speculation at this point...

I am going to put my 5D2 up for sale within a week and wait.

How long after launch did the 5D2 take to start dropping?

Nikon D850 and a bunch of stuff, I have learned a lot here when I was shooting Canon, staying to keep learning..."Every time I set up I learn something new".

They're not showing any prices for it on the web site. Did you have to call and haggle or are they just out of stock?

It can be like trying to catch a fly for some of those deals. Unless you are online at the time, it's gone.

I have only bought from B and H About 18 -20 purchases a year...they have treated me right over the years.

Is Beach Camera as fast as B and H as in same day shipping and responsive to customer service?

Is Beach an authorized Canon dealer?

yes. I found beach to be one of the best. Always same day shipping. I have bought from both places before. Both are equally good. Last thanksgiving I bought the 5D2+70-200LISII from beach camera. Fantastic seller. No hassles whatsoever. I believe buydig and beachcamera are the same vendor.

Set up an instant email alert on SlickDeals.com using the keyword "5D" and you can't miss.

It was a beach camera sale on ebay. I believe they sold about 270 total 5D3s. A week before that, that there was a 5D3 from bigvalue inc for 2700$ but didn't want to take the risk because they are not an authorized dealer. Beach is authorized dealer. MY item was shipped same day. Got it in 4 days or so. Took little longer because of Labor day holiday. For few weeks, beach camera also did the 5D3+600EXRT+BGE11+24-105 for I believe 4350 or 4250. Unless you want it all, it is a pain to resell. So, the 2800$ deal on just the camera was awesome deal.

Keep looking at this link I made up for the beach camera 5D3 deals

http://www.ebay.com …_armrs=1&_ssn=beachcamera (external link)

Also, go to slickdeals and create an alert for the camera. It will email as soon as the deal is posted.

Good luck
