5D3 pricing..

I can't believe that a 5D3 can be had for $2800 brand new! We get screwed in Canada for camera gear compared to the US :(

I bought mine at $3499 (before) taxes here in Vancouver and that's as cheap as it gets locally! I'm so jealous!

UK authorized dealers dropped there prices for a body by around £315 2-3 weeks ago which gives the price at £2684.

Grey imports are dropping in price also. £1938 is about the best price you'll have to pay for a body here.

What duty and tax would you have to pay if you bought one over the border?

The Adorama eBay price converts to £1,700 in the UK. Add on 20% tax and it's still 10% cheaper than the best grey import price here - Digitalrev or HDEW say.
