Hey folks. I just got my 350D 2 weeks ago and wanted to try out night photography. It's my first attempt with long exposures and boy is it fun. Taken with the 18-55 kit lens. Comments and suggestions are welcome. Heck, they're encouraged. Thanks :)

Nice shot.

I'm not a fan of the kit lens, but it does take decent enough shots. Add to that the fact that you're in Milan, and it probably makes it difficult to take a bad shot...

Thanks. :) The kit lens has been pretty good to me so far, though aethetically it doesn't look as menacing as the red-striped monsters or even the USM lenses.

Nice exposure and use of motion blur. My only crit is that I think you should crop off the bottom of the photo as that sign in the bottom right draws the eye away from the action at the top. Don't take too much off though becaus I like all the people down there as well.

This shot is great. It has a vibrancy about it. It's made me think about heading out tonight to experiment ;-)a

I agree nice shot, well exposed, I don't think the signs to disrcting, it wasn't untill I read the first reply and went back and looked at the photograph that I really saw it. If you are going to remove it. I think it would be better to clone it out rather then crop the photo. I have also been been meaning to get out and get some evening / night shots, although in not as quite as glamours place, have to stop being so lazy had get out in the next couple of nights
