Tribute Lights NYC from Liberty State Park, NJ

A beautiful quiet night on the 10th when the twin beams of light were on for about 1.5 hrs until 2130. I was down there last year for the 10th anniversary the night before and there was a big turnout of photographers. This year it was just a small handful of us out there. More room for me to move around and not be distracted. Last year on the 10th, there was a nice bright full moon and some moody looking clouds which added to the look and feel of the 9/11 Memorial. This year it was eerily the same weather as 9/11/2001. Never forget.

Thanks Mark. I've been to the same spot now two years in a row. I like to go on the 10th of September before the big rush of people for the 11th. The lights are pretty but it is there to remind us of the attacks on the WTC on 9/11. I know that I will not forget.
