first I must commend you on a very informative subject. Clicking on the link I knew exactly what I was getting into. So good job there.

But seriously folks, that lens is a pretty wide lens. So if you are looking for a wide lens then yes, it would be a good lens. I prefer the Tokina 11-17 f2.8 myself.
