9/11 Memorial at Liberty State Park, NJ

Shot this after the Tribute Lights were extinguished for the night on Sept 10th. Both were shot using the Canon EF TS 24mm/f3.5 Tilt Shift lens. The two pieces of steel are from the WTC wreckage. The two silver walls form a Twin Towers look when viewed from the end. When you walk down the middle of the walls, you will see the names of the 9/11 victims. Very moving memorial to them all. The main focus was on the two pieces of steel from the WTC. Love the sharpness of the TS 24mm lens. All manual settings with no automatic functions. Takes time to learn how to use it but it is also quite fun at the same time!

Thanks Rick. I saw the girl off to the left wearing the grey hoodie. I was going to wait for her to move but then I thought it might be much more poignant to have someone visiting the memorial and possibly taking a photo of a loved ones name on the wall. Very somber.
