I just got a minolta 58mm f1.2 for free and was wondering how I can use this on my 5d Mark II. Please comment ur experiences and thoughts!

Yes, but in order to mauntain infinity focus with Minolta lenses on EOS bodies, they have glass or plastic optics which will degrade the image.
