Hi
I am looking for a large format printer (24") to print photos from my digital Rebal. Need to stay under $5000.00 Can anyone recommend a good printer?
Thank You

You could have a look at the HP Designjet 130

I have never used one, so I can't comment on quality, but here is a short user review.

A lot of folks swear by the Epson 2400 and 4800 printers. Which Drebel do you have? I would think that 24" prints might be pushing the limits of the 300D rebel, but good quality shots from the 8MP 350D/Rebel XT should hold up to that size.

You would need to go to the Epson stylus Pro 7800 to get to the 24" that you indicated. I have the Epson 4800 and it is a 17" printer. The 7800 is about $3000. I also have the Epson R800 and I can recomment Epson printers without hesitation, they really are awesome.
Epsons website has downloadable brochures.

Epson. I have the older Stylus 2200 but it prints up to 19" wide and does a darn good job.

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

I stand corrected. I thought the 2400/4800 was a 24" printer.
I only print up to 13x19 at home, and then only as proofs. All my final prints go to a real photo lab to be produced on photo paper.

Try Epson Stylus Pro 7000. It produces professional photo-quality prints on a wide range of media up to 24" wide.:lol::lol:
