Agreed. Awesome stuff! I suppose there is a little bit more predicability to wakeboarding compared to surfing but your subjects are generally moving faster.


It is really hard to shoot from the boat because of the constant motion as it is always bouncing up and down from wave chop etc. Sometimes it makes it really hard to keep the rider in frame with proper focus lock on them.

Heading back to Hawaii and the North-Shore again this year, but a little bit earlier in the season, late November - early December, so I hope the swells arrive early... :-)

Not sure man. It was made for a 1D3, & my 1Ds2 seems to fit alright (some buttons don't line up).
According to wiki, the 1DX is 5mm taller than my 1D3, so it may work. PM me if you want more details.
