Being 51 yrs old now, that is the perfect size wave. If only I could get enough of those before I get much older. Thanks for the dream image, Canon Dog.

Mark, I know what you mean. I turned 67 today and wish I could have gotten in a few more waves before I retired from surfing. I caught my first wave in the summer of 1961 in Seal Beach, Ca and my last at Doheny, Ca in the summer of 2007. Where did the time go. Hope you reach your wave count before it's over.

Enjoy your memories, Canon dog. You surfed the days when there were no crowds and freedom was black & white. Todays surfers are finding it harder & harder to find their own space.

^^ Too many kooks nowadays at the lineup and had seen injuries and close calls but that's surfing life is. No respect anymore especially when there's big swell. I'm turning 54 in a couple of months and wish I can go out with my lil go-pro and shoot these fellas like before but it's not worthy anymore for me. It's better down the shore I get to shoot some BIF's (Bikini In Flight) hehehe ^^

Paul, hope to see ya at the Oakley Surf Challenge down Trestles this Friday.
