Pixel King Channel Settings, what am I missing?

So I have 2 Pixel King Tx, and 3 Rx. I purchased them this way to have a couple spares. I've tried this with both Tx's, and several Rx.

Canon 60D, 2 430 EXII's, all Tx/Rx have been flashed to the Canon 60D firmware.

In the Flash menu, I'm shooting manual mode, manual flash settings, 1st curtain, wireless on, A:B, L1. I have 2 speedlights. I would like to be able to control the power independently, as well as select speedlights to fire 1 at a time, or both fire at same time.

I'm not understanding how the channels function apparently. I lose options on the Tx as I add flashes. I assumed, each combination would fire based on what was selected on the Tx. However, when I add these two flashes, this is what happens.

Rx/Speedlight 1 = Pixel King set to Channel 1, Group A
Rx/Speedlight 2 = Pixel King set to Channel 2, Group B

EDIT - If I use L1 - I can set one Speedlight 1 to A or B, and Speedlight 2 to C, and fire them together or independently, however, that still doesn't allow me to control whether my strobes fire...

I can currently fire each flash separately, and control the power through the camera menu. However, once this is setup, I can no longer have the option on the TX to choose "L1/L2"? The ONLY options I have on the Tx, are L1/L2/L3 selected one at a time, or L2/L3 together, thats it, no L1/L3, and no L1/L2/L3 all at once. However, I can continue to choose the 7 different combinations on the Rx's. Can only fire 1 flash at a time.

Next I tried this, due to the limited selection on the Tx for "L":

Rx/Speedlight 1 = Channel 2, Group A
Rx/Speedlight 2 = Channel 3, Group B

When I select L2, Speedlight 1 fires with appropriate settings, when I select L3, Speedlight 2 fires with appropriate settings, when I fire L2/L3 neither fire.

What am I missing?

My ultimate goal is to have L1 on a Stroboframe, Speedlight(s) on L2, and Studio Strobes on L3 with cheap triggers connected via PC port on Rx3. And be able to fire any combination of the 3 sets and control the power on my Speedlights.

What am I missing here?

One thought I had is the 4 options on my Tx coincide with the L1-L4 in the camera? If that is the case, how do I make the Rx belong to TWO groups?

EDIT:

I just discovered if I use L1, and Set in camera to A:B:C, I can put Rx1 on A or B, then Rx 2 on C, and fire them independently, or together. However, this still doesn't offer me the option of turning Rx 3 on or off?

The only solution I can think of is to put off camera speedlights on C so I can turn them off remotely, turn off my on strobo frame flash when I want it off, and tote around Rx 3 with my "dumb" transmitter for my Strobes with me and power that down when I don't want them to fire. Seems like a pretty hokie solution and prone to issues. Maybe I should have sprung for the Phottix Odin, but I thought Pixel Kings would do this....

From my review:

CH button
L1 = Ch1
L2 = Ch2
L3 + Ch3
L2 L3 = Ch5
L1 L2 = Ch6
L1 L3 = Ch7
L1 L2 L3 = Ch4
(The instructions are wrong about Ch5, 6 and 7)

Each RX can be allocated to a single Channel. Only those that are on the same channel as the FCM/TX will fire. The channel set on the flash’s LCD is ignored. Edit: FCM = flash control menus.

Channels are displayed on the FCM, the King’s TX and RX, and the Speedlite’s LCD. The Channel to be used can be set on either the FCM or on the TX; the other device will follow. Channels 5, 6 and 7 can be set on the King TX when used with a non-FCM camera.

So that's a no then. No way to assign a flash to 2 channels, or to control them as I described.

That's a no.
You can only use one channel at a time. Setting L2/L3 is the just the way you select channel 5, by itself. That's the way I understood it anyway.
Can't you put them all on the same channel but in different groups?
I have a pair of Pixel Kings (Tx/Rx) and only one flash so I can't help test.

I'm regretting my purchase of these units. The company offers no support from what I read from others.
I will be buying more speedlights in the near future but I'm thinking of switching to another trigger option instead of potentially wasting more money on Pixel Kings.

The channel is a radio frequency bandwidth, carrying the digital data flow. Each device has just one aerial and discrimination circuit.

However, the groups are implemented by digital code, so can do more, within the limits of what Canon permits.
