Canon 200L F1.8 for 8/900 euro?

Okay, here in my country someone sells his 200F1.8L

It is used very very well, see the link below. Would you buy such thing for such price?

Does someone know how much it cost to replace some things from such lens?

A couple of things:

1) It's a starting bid of 800 euros, correct? So it could go much higher
2) No pictures from the lens, are those available?
3) I don't read Dutch (Google kind of does! ) but does it mention if the lens is functional?
4) their last auction was back in June. Not sure if that's a problem.

Haha I know. The glass and mechanics are fine. But I don't think I will ever buy a lens in a shape like this. But the price is sick. It's probably the best lens in the world. I think they will bid above 1000 euro's I think. The bids you see are from the last few minutes. There was just one bid when I saw this 20 minutes ago.

I am not going for it. But when I saw it I was like... WOW.

It truly is a legendary lens and if you are in the market for it, why not!
Scratches are cosmetic, if the lens works fine and the glass is clean you'll get pictures out of this word...
