Autumn ... blur or no blur

Autumn is coming to the Highlands of Scotland. It is not here yet but will be very, very soon. This is from last year.

Q1.. Should I keep the purpple heather in at the top of the image
Q2.. Should I use blur to make it more "dreamy" or leave it unblurred.

Definitely don't blur it. It's not that wonderful...needs more. I do like the layered effect you have going with the green, then yellow, then purple. Perhaps there is a better location to show this, the few yellower trees in front kinda ruin it for me. Maybe try a panoramic style crop?

No blur and keep the heather, but it appears your white balance is off unless the light really was that golden. It doesn't look right.

No blur, for sure. You want to see that detail in the trees. Nice shot.

Instead of blurring the whole image, play around with a false tilt shift. Might make it a bit more interesting
